"Attached is a photo from a memory card that we found in our washing machine (yes, true!) after we moved out of our apartment in Vancouver, Canada. Our friends found it a month or so later. This would have been in the summer of 2007. We can't explain how it got there.
The photos appear to be from Europe (Italy and Austria) and are date-stamped May/2006.
I'm sure the owners would like the memory stick back...if you can help find them I'm sure they would appreciate it."

It may not be much help, but the picture was taken in Salzburg, Austria. They're in the Mirabell Gardens with the Hohensalzburg Fort in the background.
