I've been waiting for a website like yours. In late August or September, 1973 my husband and I climbed Mt St Helen's, before it blew. We met 4 young people near the top and shared our camp spot with them. The next day my husband took a picture of the four of them on the way to the top.

It's a gorgeous picture and we've often been sorry that we didn't exchange contact info with them so they could have a copy. That was before the days of internet.....now with a website like yours, possibly someone would recognize them!

Wrong slides sent from Fuji Lab.
Several years ago I sent a roll of slide film to Fuji from Alaska that included images of alpinglow & Mt. McKinley. Someone else's slides were sent to me, which I returned but my images were never returned to Fuji. These were taken 90 miles deep inside Denali National Park, a place I will never get back to. If anyone received these slides, I would love to have them back.

We never heard back from any of the writers who thought maybe they recognized someone in our photo. If you get a chance, let us hear from you. Thank you.

Sorry I never got back to you. Although that guy is my old man's spitting image, apparently it's not him. The time and place is correct but he took a look and said nope. Sorry!

Lynda, I may know the man in the back and I would love to get in touch with you.

Hi again Lynda. Are you positive this picture was taken in 1973? Could it have been in '72 instead?
My prior post was signed "Anonymous"

Hi Lil Sis, I am sure it was fall 1973 because I was barely pregnant with my daughter who was born in April, 1974. Is it possible it was 1973? Please let us know. Thank you. Lynda

The young man standing in the back with the red hair and beard is the spitting image of my brother Larry. Larry was killed at the age of 19 by a drunk driver in October '72 in what was then Tillicum, WA.
Our family lived in Tacoma and Larry was gone for about 5 weeks during the summer of '72.
The resemblance is truly amazing and I was really taken aback by this photo.
I appreciate your time and response and I hope you find the right people.
Thank you.
