"I found a camera on Dublin in Colorado Springs on June 15th, 2008. Unfortunately the camera had be run over by a vehicle. But the memory card was intact containing 204 pictures. Appears to be a cruise with a stop in Machu Pichu? Identify the brand of camera and I will gladly mail it to you."

It's actually Chichen Itza, a late classic Maya site on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico... the building is called Kukulcan Temple or El Castillo.
Chiche Itza is a day trip from Cancun, so chances are thats where these people were staying.

Warning: I don't think e-mailing the camera's brandname will prove anything, as all camera's register this information in every pictures it takes.

This picture is taken with a KODAK CX7530 ZOOM DIGITAL CAMERA, you can tell if you save the file, right-click and chose 'properties'. Just thought you should know to ask for other info than camera brand / type / etc.

Moreover, the ferry has a big "Trans-Caribe" label -meaning, the cruise stop was probably located somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean.

Machu Picchu is located in PerĂº, which is located front of South Pacific Ocean. Two different oceans.

I don't know where the pictures were taken. But there are pictures from a cruise ship as well. The camera was found on a road in Colorado Springs. Is that your friend in the picture?

The cruise line is Carnival and the ship's name is Ecstacy (judging by a second picture posted on the facebook page that has the cruise ship in it). Is there a date anywhere while they were on the cruise?

The cards has pictures dated 08/26/2007 through 9/14/2007.
