"This camera was found in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. According to the photos, it was a US soldier's camera and the photos were taken at the Ali Al Salem airbase, also located in Kuwait. The camera was found in Dec 2008, but was probably sitting in the vehicle for several months. Soldiers come from and go to Iraq via Ali Al Salem, so who knows where the owner of this camera is now."

I hope to god he made it back to the States perfect as when he left. I thank god every day for the sacrifice they go through, I hope he gets the memories of him and his brothers back.

In the other picture on facebook, you can see them in uniform - I can't zoom in but maybe the person who found it can zoom in on the name on the uniform?

When zoomed It looks like OSLE on the guy whose camera it probably is, and ...IGHL... on the other guy

The shoulder patch is from the 11th Armored Cavalry. It is based out of Fort Irwin, CA.

Currently, there is no one in the Army with the last name OSLE. To me, the nametape looks more like it might read COLE

The photo of the 2 buddies...I zoomed in and the nametag of the guy w/o mustache *is* definitely COLE
