"I found a Nikon Coolpix S51 camera Saturday, March 27, 2010 in the evening at Downtown Disney at Disneyland. I found it on the cement seating near Jamba Juice (it was in the plants). There are over 600 pictures that were on the 2 GB memory card of the camera. The attached pictures best show what the family looks like from their recent trip to Disneyland."

"My boss gave me an old Kodak Duaflex camera. She bought it at a Phoenix, AZ, yard sale about 6 months ago. It had a roll of undeveloped unfinished 620 film in it, so I had it developed.

These are some of the photos that were on it - from 1980s California. Not sure the year, sometime 1983-1987, I think. The girl's hairdo is very 1986-87, but the elderly folks are wearing fashions about 10 years older than everyone else, so I cannot guess!

The owner of the camera was probably the elderly woman in several of the photos - she may have passed away by now.

It's amazing to me that these images survived, undeveloped, in this camera, for 25 years.

I wish I could find the family to give them these photos."

"Found at SFO airport on Christmas day in 2008. I found it in one of the bins while going through security. I included photos that feature people that might be recognized. The stick also includes photos of a pretty bad car accident.

I tried contacting California police, but they didn't give me any useful info. I've had the card sitting in my drawer for a while and just found your site."

"I found a memory card on the 31.7.2009 at the Elephants Seals beach near San Simeon in the central California coast. The card is a SanDisk 4 GB Compact Flash (CF) memory card and contains 846 pictures of a family trip in Los Angeles and others regions (probably all in California).

I live in Switzerland and I found this card during my wonderful holidays in California this sommer. [sic]"

"I found a memory card at Costco in Redwood City, CA. I got it confused with my card at the photo counter when I was doing reprints. I must have been 2-3 months ago because I just came across the card. It was in a small Sandisk zipper pouch for memory cards.

Pictures appear to be a trip to Peru or Chile."

"The Sony silver camera was found about mid-May in the San Francisco area in a camping area at Mt. Tamalpais with some serious water damage, but the memory card was readable. Other pictures include hiking and little league."

"All I found is the memory card on the ground at Mission Trails Regional Park in San Diego, California. It was Mar. 21, sometime around noon. The SD card is 1 GB. All the photos are from some 3rd world country/island where it looks like they took a family vacation."

"Found this camera sitting on a post at Pescadero Beach on Hwy 1, South of Half Moon Bay and North of Santa Cruz, on Apr. 25, 2009. I would have left it for someone to come back but it looked like it might rain. It only has 7 pictures, looks like 2 girls and 1 guy on a road bike trip. Hope they check this website, it’s a nice camera."

"In June 2004, I was vacationing in Yosemite National Park, California and found an Olympus Camedia digital camera model X-200 digital camera in the womens restroom of the campground we were staying in."

"Of the 59 photos on the disk, the majority were taken at Yosemite National Park. I’m guessing that the people might have been staying in Curry Village, where I found the camera."

"Back in 2005 a friend of mine found a compact flash card at an Alex Grey Party at the Hollywood Athletic Club in Hollywood. It seems the group took a trip in South America in January 2005. As neither of us recognized a soul in the pictures, I made a backup copy of the images on the card just in case a site like this came around."

"This camera and pictures were found March of 2008, somewhere in or near San Francisco, CA. From the pictures it looks like this is a French couple, visiting San Francisco. They travelled on American Airlines, visited the Stanford Rodin Gallery and campus."

"We found a camera in the backseat pocket of a flight from Los Angeles to Charlotte, NC (my partner grabbed it thinking it was mine). Here's some pictures that were included on the card. I'm assuming that one of these two ladies own the camera due to the pictures on the card mostly being of them together and separately with what appears to be friends."

"A description of the camera along with a description of the tattoo that can be seen on each lady will ensure a hasty return time!"
