About a year ago I found a USB flash drive in a hotel room in Coopersburg, PA. These are fun pictures. If they were mine I would certainly want them back.

I really don't think that you should be posting these pictures. I would not want pictures of me posted with out my knowledge.

The first picture reminds me so much of a family dinner I had before my grandpa died. It is so similar, it is eerie...

I think this is a great idea. I would want my pics back if I lost them!

This is a really neat idea. I know that I will never see any pictures of me on here... but I really like looking at other peoples pictures. It's nice to know someone else is happy in this world.

The interesting thing is, though these are not my photos, many of the people in them greatly resemble people I know. Not enough that I think they are those people, but enough to be very eerie. What's more, all of the people the picture resembles are from the same group of friends.

What about photo CDs? I found one a couple years ago, and still have it. I've found sleeves full of negatives, too.

I think this is a great idea. thanks for starting this blog!

I love this picture, it reminds me of a night where I lost my camera...

another idea might be to post these on craiglist

maybe someone who knows somebody from the photos can tell them.

Wow. The red-haired girl blowing the kiss looks exactly like someone I knew thirty years ago! Of course, it can't be her, because she wouldn't still look that young, but it could be her daughter. That's really spooky.

Why didn't you give it to the hotel?

no matter what you do, you'll find the people that really get off on complaining.

i think it's a good thing, and an effective way to return the items to the owners. you cannot please all the people all the time.

very awesome idea, i wish i would've thought of it first :)

i've always treasured "found" cameras and film.

i know the girl in the second picture with the reddish hair blowing a kiss. i emailed her and a friend of hers this link and hopefully she will know who's camera it is to get it back!

this site is a great idea, well done

Huh. I know quite a few of them. Not so well that I want them to have those pictures back though. :)

Anonymous said...

oh wow. i know almost everyone in those pictures, but i have no idea whose flash drive it would be.

Maybe if you know these people in the pictures you should tell them. Imagine if it was your camera and someone said "eh I know them but I don't care to give them their camera back." Karma sucks people. If you see someone you know TELL THEM! A Quick Email or Myspace or facebook message. You don't have to go out for dinner and movie with the person. Simply state I found this website and I think they have your camera. Simple. Gosh people. I'd like to think humanity isn't rude!

Colleen,
I was just being silly. It looks like other people have already told at least one of them, anyway. And really, I do know them, but I would have no idea how to get in touch with them.

Anonymous said...

Michelle you weren't the only one. Not on this post. There was another. And in general. I like to think that someone was kind enough to make this website. And it was a brilliant idea, I just hope that people will tell others when they see their pictures.

i kno who those ppl r and i told them as soon as i could find them. just cuz they live next door doesn't mean theyre always in their room.

so colleen, chill out. if the pictures arent down, its cuz they themselves haven't gone to it, not cuz they werent told.

Anonymous said...

T... maybe you should read the posts. People are saying that they aren't gonna tell the person. Don't be rude to me.

colleen, i was one of the ppl who posted that i knew 2 ppl in the 2nd picture. they were told.
the next person (katy k) that said they knew someone on there said they emailed them. the next one (michelle) was joking and said theyd try, and then anonymous said theyd try.

doesnt look like any1 wuld honestly say they wuldnt return it.

if ur talkin about another post on the blog, tell those ppl on that post. here, the posts show that we'd return em. relax urself.
