The word "crow" might be a reference to the Alpha Chi Rho fraternity, which would explain all the beer. There are AXP chapters at Drexel and Penn, but that doesn't look like either the Drexel or the Penn house. Maybe there's an AXP chapter at yet another Philly college, or maybe they're using an off-campus house to avoid campus alcohol rules. (I notice there don't seem to be any Penn or Drexel public safety officers visible...)
Other possible ways to identify the owners include the beerfest photos, but "Hellertown Hungwells" gets zero Google hits. I suppose just hope somebody recognizes somebody in one of the photos.

Nope, not New Orleans. That's deffinately a picture from last years block party festivites at Bloomsburg University which is actually in Bloomsburg, PA not Philladelphia. :)

You guys should change this from Philadelphia to Bloomsburg.. or taken in Bloomsburg or something. It's from block party at BloomU from last year. There was a riot and the police were called in.
I think the point is that it was found in Philadelphia.

In regards to the concern, the person who submitted this said they found it in Rittenhouse Square Park, Philadelphia, PA... I'm not sure where that is in proximity to the place where the party actually took place.

Alpha Chi Rho fraternity is hosting Crow Jam at 5:30 p.m. today, October 11, 2005 on Buckley Green (33rd and Arch Streets). Events will include a barbeque and live music by Rough Justice.

Oh for f's sake. It's Bloomsburg University on Fetterman Ave. End of discussion. It's the annual block party. Police come every year. Rittenhouse Square in Philly is about 2.5 hours from there. Lots of people that go to Bloom are from Philly.
I go to the College of Charleston, which one of the guys in the pictures is wearing... I will ask around and see if anyone knows him!!!
i know two of the guys, i let them know about it already.
The guys i know go to Temple University (in philly) by the way, and tons of people around here go to block party at Bloom so it all makes sense.
yeah, i thought that was bloom. lovely what we're known for. :-P

I live in Bloomsburg, PA and these photos look like they came from the block party the college kids have every year. The pary is HUGE, HUGE, HUGE! And can get out of hand easy.

This found photo set is frustratingly close to being resolved!
Every bit of evidence points to the fact that these are from the Bloomsburg U annual block party, probably 2007. Even doing a Google Image Search for "Bloomsburg Block Party" results in images that look very similar to this one (same kind of housing, same beer cans littered on the ground, etc).
Bloomsburg isn't too far from Philly, so it's easy to imagine somebody who lives in Philly went there for school (or just for the party).
We've even had somebody saying they know people in the photos! Sadly no follow up from them. Perhaps somebody could find contact info for the AXP chapter at Bloom U. I can't find a thing about them other than their chapter name. Perhaps somebody at Bloom would have more luck.
