The photo was taken at the full moon party, Had Riin Beach in Koh Phangnan, Thailand on December 26, 2004 (the tsunami hit earlier that morning).



"These people asked me to take a picture of them because they didn't have a camera, but i had no way of getting the photo back to them. I've always wondered if they'll ever get their photo back."

I lost my camera on that same beach full moon party 11/07. I hope someone honest will return my memories :(

Just to clarify one thing: Koh Phangan was actually not "hit" by the Tsunami since it is on the other side of Surat Thani peninsular.

I have lost a disposable camera at a full moon party some years back. Now I know there is still hope taht someone still has the pictures and maybe, maybe will at some point come across this side.

My camera was stolen from Haad Rin in feburary 08. I would give almost aything to have it back, and my travel pictures. I cried for days...

i hope someone in this photo finds this and it makes them happy

In May of 2005 my camera was stolen on this beach. It was a few nights before the full moon party. I would give anything just for the pictures off of it. The camera was replaced...but the pictures? Could never be.
