"I found this memory stick in July 2007 at the Cincinnati Zoo. Hopefully, these people discover your site and can claim these photos. They seem like they were from vacation and it'd probably mean a lot to them if they got them back."

It's amazing how many people just find memory sticks and not the cameras themselves.
I myself rarely separate the two.
Makes ya wonder. lol
Maybe the memory stick became loose off the camera while it was being swinged, you know. Not all people are thieves.
tina -- i've wondered the saaaame thing. though i consider myself an optimist, i can also be a realist :)
what i know beyond a shadow of a doubt, however, is that i love this site!
Amen to that Jessie! :)
The top photo was taken in Krohn Conservatory
I have 2 memory cards for my camera, one gets full, I take it out, put it in it's case and use the other one. To take the pictures off the cards, I take them out of the camera and put them into a card reader. The memory cards also fit my phone, so I move them back and forth. Besides, it isn't about the cameras, it's about getting back the memories.
This is true. It is about getting back the memories.
Just makin' an observation.... that is all.
I just hope whoever "found" my camera that I lost 3 years ago in Albany also finds the $800 camera it was attached to.
:P
You need to be a little careful of not forgetting your posessions, Tina. Just because you forgot your camera somewhere, it doesn't mean all of the people who found these memory sticks found the camera as well. Gotta be more careful, sweety. As explained on a previous post, people usually take out the memory sticks off the camera.
Tina, doubt you'll see your camera and with your thought processes like "It's amazing how many people just find memory sticks and not the cameras themselves" me thinks you never will.
I know the teenage girl in that picture! Her name is Tori Steele, she just graduated from Scott High School in Taylor Mill, where I go as well. She was my aid in art class...that's crazy! I'll have to send her this. =D
The bottom photo looks like it was taken at Pearl Harbor...
really, i'm the one who found the memory stick. or well, my brother did. now if i had taken the camera, do you think i'd post this hoping they'll come back for it? probably not, so let's not be too quick to judge someone we don't even know. :]
I wasn't judging you... just making a comment on how many memory sticks are found and not the cameras themselves.
It just so happened I commented it on this particular entry.
i recognize krohn conservatory in cincinnati. i'm guessing these people are from Great Britain due to logo on dad's shirt & length of son's pants.
NOPE. I KNOW these people and they actually LIVE in this area. I contacted them but its been a couple years so possibility they had another cam (with identical or close pics) and by now theyve moved on, bought a new one....
Anyhow. I came here because I lost my X's cam today tryin to download from the memory card he had over 4000 pics of years of my kids and the kids had it for a field trip and i think i left it layin where I downloaded (public place) If anyone found something similar I appreciate your shout! THANX
