Subject: lost camera
I wanted to ask for you help regarding a camera. It was lost on Monday, December 15, on Lake Fork near Yantis, Texas.
We were in an accident. Our truck hit black ice, spun out, and flipped over the guard rail into the lake. Our 14 month old daughter was killed.
All of the latest pictures and movies of her were on the camera, which was in the truck at the time. I have had a diver down all afternoon today looking with no luck, so we think it may have floated away.
The camera is a blue Panasonic TZ-5 and it is in a small blue and black bag with a black shoulder strap.
I just wanted to get the information out as many places as possible in case someone found it.

I just want to say I am sorry to hear of your terrible loss. I hope and pray that you find your camera and recover your precious memories.

I am so sorry for your your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your precious baby.
I hope someone finds your camera and returns it to you. I am sure you have already done this; but did you check with the tow truck people? The police that investigated your accident? The ambulance attendents? Put an ad in the newspaper nearest the accident site... I would even go to the paper/news station and try to get them to publish your story even. The memories in your camera cannot be replaced - someone has to have found it. If not, it will open peoples eyes to look for it.
I wish I were nearby to help you look. I would put every moment I had into to your search.

What about posting it on craigslist in the nearest cities to the accident?

Sorry for your loss- I lost 3 fam members in a car accident 2 years ago, so I know some of how you're feeling. I hope you find your camera & those memories.
