"This Canon Power Shot A710 7.1 Mega pixels found in Tucano camera bag at Death Valley Buttes Saturday afternoon on March 7, 2009. What a great website to find cameras you have created! Thank you for making this easy, Craig."

"I have found a camera on Oriental Parade in Wellington, New Zealand, that has been lost by someone who has recently traveled to what appears to be Bolivia, Peru and Colombia. It has 817 pictures of their trip on the chip and appears to belong to a group of 3, 2 girls and a guy. No photos of New Zealand so possibly a New Zealand group of travellers. Camera has been handed to NZ Police at Wellington."

"Found at SFO airport on Christmas day in 2008. I found it in one of the bins while going through security. I included photos that feature people that might be recognized. The stick also includes photos of a pretty bad car accident.

I tried contacting California police, but they didn't give me any useful info. I've had the card sitting in my drawer for a while and just found your site."

Almost a year ago to the day, I was contacted by Larry Collins, a reporter from WCBD-TV 2 in South Carolina.

He'd been sent a lost memory card and the task of helping to track down its owners. Larry and I talked about the IFoundYourCamera project, lost pictures, and ways to track down the owners.

A day after the original story aired, Larry was contacted by the owners of the lost photos he was given.

It's a great news story.

New pictures up tomorrow.

"I found a pink Panasonic Luminix camera with a pink beaded bracelet attached to the side. I found it on Feb 27, 2010, on a pirate-like ship in the islands around Koh Phi Phi and Phuket. The ship is often hired for day or weekend long trips around the islands of Thailand.

I hope we can find the owner. Great project!"

In late November or early December 2009, I found an SD card in a parking lot at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place in Toronto. From the files and folders present on the card, one of these guys is named "Matt". They speak French, and are probably from Montreal, QC, Canada.

- March 9, 2009 they left from "Pearson International Airport" in Toronto, ON, Canada, and flew to "Juan Santamaria International Airport" in Alajuela, about 20 km from San Jose, Costa Rica. Flew out of Juan Santamaria on a small "Sansa Regional" / "Taca Regional" plane, had a stopover at "Tamarindo Airport", and arrived at "Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport" in Liberia, Costa Rica. From there, they went to the nearby "Ocotal Beach Resort & Marina" in Playa Del Coco, and stayed in suite 301.

During their stay they went scuba diving at the resort, took a hiking trip at the "La Fortuna Waterfall" near Arenal Volcano, rode donkeys, went on the "Rio Negro Tubing Adventure" by "Hacienda Guachipelin Tours". The last images were taken on March 18, 2009, so they were probably there for a week and a half or two.

I have emailed both airline and the resort with my personal contact info, not asking for their information, but to pass mine on to them, if possible. I have not received any reply. I tried again using Google Translate, but again no reply.

I recently found your site, and thought I'd give it a try. I'll happily return the SD card to them, if anyone can figure out who they are.

"The Canon camera was found at the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport in October 2008, took card out and had to give camera to Atlanta Airport L&F, per airport personnel who found it with me. Just found the card back in my old camera bag, and did a few Googles to see what I could find if someone was looking for it over the last 18 months, then found your site. Maybe this will one day help get the photos and the owner back together, there are over 170 on the CF card."

"On Saturday Feb. 13, my wife and I found a small digital camera at Aireys Inlet, Victoria. The camera clearly belongs to a young couple that have been touring Australia. They have visited Fraser Island, Cairns, Central Australia, South Australia and now Victoria. The couple appear to be backpackers, but I cannot figure out whether they are Australian or from another country. One of the images is of some writing in the sand that says “Happy 21st Vicky” – so I’m assuming the girl’s name is Vicky.

We would dearly like to return the camera to the couple, as I am sure they would be devastated by its loss. If there is anything you could do to help that would be great!"

"I found an SD memory card in the snow at Wing Mountain Snow Play area outside Flagstaff, Arizona, around 11 a.m. on Feb. 6, 2010. The card has 301 pictures on it, taken in 2008 between March 6 and May 18 of that year. The pictures all feature a family and their friends who appear to live in the Phoenix area of Arizona. A young blond woman named "Sunny Lee" appears in most of the photos.

I would like to get this card back to its rightful owner!"

"On Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, between about 4:30 and 5:00 p.m, I found a Fuji digital camera near the Washington Monument, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The camera had multiple images featuring the pictured young woman in a variety of locations around the world. I would love to see that this camera gets back to the owner, who I believe is the pictured woman, and who, in one image is wearing a stick-on name tag bearing the name "Anna" on the right side of her chest."

"I found a 1GB Sandisk SD card on the boarding bridge of an American Airlines gate at the airport in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010. No one on the flight claimed it, so perhaps it was from someone on an earlier flight. The photos include a wedding, bridal shower, and family vacations to the beach and Boulder, Colorado. All told, there are 161 photos, taken (according to the EXIF data) with a KODAK EASYSHARE C743 ZOOM DIGITAL CAMERA."

"This camera was found late afternoon on Feb. 13, 2010 in Mid-City, New Orleans, Louisiana. It was alongside the Endymion parade route. I get the feeling from the pictures that it belongs to a tourist that was in town for Mardi Gras. I am including shots of people's faces in hopes that they're recognized by someone.

Make, model, and color of camera withheld of course until owner contacts."
