"I found a canon powershot digital elph in a taxi cab with pictures taken around September 5th in New York City. Pictures and video taken at The Top of the Rock, Pastis, Times Square, Grand Central Station. Majority are of three guys (possibly Australian or British--couldn't quite make out the accent from videos). One guys wears a superman cap in most photos."

"My girlfriend found a 1 GB SD memory card on the floor of a bar near Times Square while she was visiting NY. I think it might have been on St. Patrick's Day.

The recent pictures are in NY, but there are also older pictures that appear to be in Australia."

"I found this camera after the NY Yankees/LA Angels baseball game on Saturday, May 2, 2009, inside Yankee Stadium around 4:30 p.m. I didn't really trust the people at the lost & found."

"I found a camera memory card about four years ago in a bar in the Lower East Side, New York City. I think the name of the bar was the Library, but I can't remember for sure. There are a total of 617 pictures of a young couple that lived in New York City."

"On Jan. 3, I rode the Greyhound bus from New York City to Toronto. On the very back seat, after lifting up its cushion to see why the seat was wet, I discovered an iPod 30GB with a number of photos on it.

The iPod was named "RaEmilLz IP", and some of the pictures in it were from "Ro's camera". It looks like you took a trip in March 2008 to Canada, visiting Toronto and Montreal. You took a lot of pictures at the Montreal Biodome.

If you can identify the serial number and colour of the iPod, or send some pictures of yourself that prove you're the people in the photos, I'd be more than happy to give you back your iPod."

"My daughter found a Kodak camera on a tour bus in New York City while on a tour with her school. The bus company says it is "not responsible for lost or stolen items" and won't contact the school the other tour kids were from. Her teacher tried to contact the other school and had no luck. The camera's serial number was not registered at Kodak. This is our last hope to find its owner. If this is your camera, I will send it back to you!"

"I found a memory card on the ground in Syracuse, New York. It was in a small park on N. Salina and Fayette Street. There are some pictures from a few parties. Also a few of a couple, the couple's children/nieces, and their friends walking around downtown.

I think the couple own the camera. I'd be pleased to return it to them, in person or by mail. There seems to be a lot of good memories on it."

"My co-workers and I found a digital camera in a cab on Mar. 25 in New York City. We got into the cab somewhere between 5:30 – 6 p.m. by Grand Central (that doesn’t mean that’s where the person got out). There are a lot of pictures that I’m sure someone was sad to lose so please contact me if you recognize the people in these pictures."

"I found a black soft camera case on the sidewalk at Rockefeller Center on Mar. 19, 2009. Inside was an Apacer memory card with about 250 photos. I think the owner is an Italian woman named Isabella. The photos show many people, some special events, and some beautiful tropical vacation shots. I would like to return this to the owner."

"I found a lost camera in a NYC taxi on Jan. 10, 2009. I have included some of the pictures below. I lost my camera with awesome pictures from the Amazon this year and I never got them back. I want to get this camera to its home so they don't feel like I did."

----Email Message----
Subject: photo

On a school trip to New York, I got a beautiful picture of a couple getting engaged on the Empire State Building. Because it was a film camera, I didn't know until two days later that the shots I got are just about my favorite ever.

Unfortunately, I didn't ask for their names. Now I can't:

1) Give them a copy of the photo
2) Use the photo for college scholarship competitions (I need a model release form)

I would love to find them.

Thank you,

Jenny

"I found a 512MB SD card around Friday, October 10th. It has photos from the Guggenheim and Central Park, and what looks like visits to the Culinary Institute of America and a sculpture park. Based on the chronology of the photos, and the fact that there are really only two people in them, it looks like an upstate couple's weekend getaway."

"I'd be happy to return the SD card to anyone who can prove ownership."

"I found this memory card in the parking lot of the Delphi Diner in West Islip (Long Island), NY. There were over 600 pictures from two different weddings and a cruise. I would love to return it. I think the owners of the camera are in picture 128 (bottom picture)."

"Found in Brooklyn, NY on July 3rd on 5th Avenue across from Gorilla Coffee in Park Slope/Prospect Heights area. Was the card dropped, trashed for a new one, or did someone find the camera and toss the card?"

"Either way, some nice photos from 2 years of traveling the world. I have a hard time believing someone doesn't want this card! I posted on Craigslist, but after looking through the card, I doubt they are in NYC anymore."

"I found this SD memory card in front of Space Market in Greenwich Village. I couldn't bring myself to delete the pictures or videos, so I kept them on my computer.

There are lots of pictures of kids on here so I hope the person who it
belongs to finds this some day!"
